Janal M. Rich
A Seattle area transplant, Janal M. Rich received her Bachelor of Arts in History and Communication, graduating magna cum laude from Hope College, in Holland, MI. Upon graduating from Hope College, she attended Michigan State University College of Law, where she specialized in criminal law and Native American law. During law school, she was the president of the American Bar Association, and volunteered at the South Central Michigan Legal Services (for low-income families).
Ms. Rich moved to Seattle in 2005, and spent her final year at Seattle University as a visiting student. Upon passing the bar, Ms. Rich has spent the past 10 years working in the areas of family law, criminal law, bankruptcy and traffic infractions.
Ms. Rich is a child of divorce and has personal experience with domestic violence, DUIs, and family issues. Ms. Rich not only acts as a family law attorney, but also serves as a Guardian ad Litem in King and Pierce Counties. Ms. Rich brings her personal experience into the office to relate with clients, and would ask that you allow her to do the same for you.
